Andy got an opportunity to go out to the oil platform for a two days. He flew to New Orleans and then caught a helicopter to fly 80 miles south of New Orleans into the Gulf of Mexico. The platform is called Ewing Bank 873 and sits in over 800 feet of water. From the platform he could see fish, baracuda's, and even a few sharks in the water. Andy loved the helicopter ride and enjoyed being out on the platform.
The pictures are of the coast of Louisiana from the helicopter. The platform upon leaving, sunrise from the platform, Andy in his hard hat, and the helicopter they flew in.
