Once again the late run by the Houston Astros is a little too late. The first half of the season was miserable. The second half of the season was exciting. They come up short behind the Mets and the Brewers. Better luck next year!
Once again I will have to root for another team in the playoffs. I have decided to root for the Boston Red Sox in the AL and the Chicago Cubs in the NL. Go Sox and Cubs!

How many world series championships to the astros have?
The same thing every year...If the Yankees win, we hear about how good they are, if they lose, we hear about how good they were (# championships etc...).
Although I'm going for the Red Sox, I wouldn't mind a Rays-Cubs or Red Sox-Cubs World Series.

Well there's no way we could root for the Mariners. Yikes they are terrible!
We're rooting for the Cubs too. Sadly they are not putting up the fight we would like to see.
