After Hurricane Ike

We survived Hurricane Ike! Our house received no damage. Our oak tree lost a few branches but they did not hit the house. We lost part of our fence. Attached are some pictures of the aftermath of the hurricane.

We lost power at 3 am during the hurricane. The power was out all day Saturday and returned Sunday night. (We had left that morning to go to San Antonio). It was crazy trying to get out of the Houston area. It was great for some of our friends though because they were able to enjoy our house and air conditioning while we are away.

I am sooooo glad that your house survived unaffected. Well, except for the temporary power loss. Continue to stay safe!

I'm glad your house was safe.

Four bored kids with no power, that sounds just as scary as the storm :)

I hope you had fun in San Antonio!

Nice looking home. Glad that tree did not fall on it. That would cause some serious damage it is so big. Hope life gets back to normal as soon as possible following your surgery.
