Well, Mark finally did it. He broke a bone. He broke his arm just above the wrist. He somehow fell off the swing in the back yard backwards and landed 5 feet away from the swing. I still can't figure that one out. He said he was trying to get off. It never set right so he went in for surgery and had pins put in to support it. He will be in a cast for the next 4 weeks, then have his pins removed. After that he will wear a wrist brace for a few weeks. He is doing fine. I still have to remind him not to jump around like he loves to do. He chose an orange cast. His favorite color! It has a window in it so I can clean the pins 2 times a day. We just cover it with the cast piece that they cut out and some co-flex tape. I am proud of him because he does very well with that. Jared broke his arm when he was 8 and now Mark. I sure hope they are not starting a trend! :)

It is a great idea to blog what's going on. Oma and Papa especially love to see all of the pictures you may want to post.
We love you all,
Dad
yay! gld to be able to keep up with you better. And, Mark... What can you say? You're a trooper, Steff.
If I recall the trend was maybe started by you :)
Hooray for your blog!
He looks pretty proud of that cast!
I love the blog! It's a pretty cool way to keep up with what goes on for each of us, and photos are fun! Love love

Steff,
Thanks for letting me know about your blog. We often think about you guys and how you're doing.
Somehow, none of our kids have broken anything yet but Bryce is a big chicken so it's not surprising that he has never been seriously hurt. Braden is a little more adventurous nut not by much. Summer is the bravest of them all- riding all of the roller coasters at Disneyland last year. Zack also has no fear and it would not surprise me if he becomes the first to break something. He climbs on everything all of the time and if he falls, he just gets back up and keeps going.
All is well at the moment here in Las Vegas. I can't wait to keep up with the Hardys.
Way to go Mark. YOU NEED TO BE JUST LIKE ME, YOUR NAMESAKE
